Wedding Photography at Great Fosters Hotel in Egham, Surrey
Great Fosters Hotel in Surrey was such a perfect venue for Kirsty and Anthony’s wedding. The 16th century mansion is absolutely stunning, and offered so many beautiful backdrops for their wedding photographs throughout the day.
This one is going straight in my wedding photography portfolio – days like this make being a wedding photographer so rewarding!
The room where Kirsty and her bridesmaids were getting ready had so much character in the windows, and old wooden furniture. It was details such as these that made being a wedding photographer at Great Fosters Hotel such great fun.

I absolutely love a wedding where everything takes place in one location as it means I have plenty of time to capture the atmosphere and excitement prior to the wedding ceremony starting. This is one of the reasons that Great Fosters Hotel was so much fun to photograph at.

Everyone was very relaxed as they waited, despite Kirsty being fashionably late for her wedding!

Kirsty and Anthony spent literally the whole ceremony with the most enormous grins on their faces, which is always great…and of course, it made my life very simple indeed!

The drinks reception was held outside in the garden at Great Fosters Hotel, and it was clear to see that neither of them took themselves too seriously and were simply up for a party.

“I’m married!”
The grounds of Great Fosters Hotel are quite honestly one of the best places I have ever had the opportunity to do the couple shoot. There was lavender, vine covered arches, and a stunning wooden bridge that we hijacked from the public for a few minutes! There was absolutely no way we were missing out on that shot!

The inside of Great Fosters Hotel in Egham was dressed to perfection for the wedding breakfast, and made for some beautiful photos of the speeches.

As a wedding photographer, the first thing I always look for is interesting light. Shafts of light coming in through the windows in the old hall at Great Fosters Hotel made for some beautiful photos.
The ushers had put together a slideshow for Anthony, which was kept strictly off limits from most guests due to inappropriate material! I have almost never seen someone laugh so hard for so long.

I managed to convince Kirsty and Anthony to go for one last short walk around the gardens at Great Fosters Hotel to capture a few last wedding photos, as the light was incredible. I’m so pleased they left enough time for this in their schedule for the day, as the grounds became even more stunning in the last light of the day.

Being a wedding photographer is all about finding the best light, so it was great that Anthony and Kirsty made time to capture a few last couple wedding photos during the golden hour

Great Fosters Hotel is such a unique wedding venue – I absolutely love it! Fingers crossed I get to come back here one day as someone else’s wedding photographer!

Last stop as always was the dance floor. The lighting was absolutely perfect – filling the background with colour.
There are certain couples who are absolutely perfect together. Kirsty and Anthony, you are one of those couples. Thank you for inviting me to be your wedding photographer at Great Fosters Hotel, it was an absolute pleasure!
